About McCOUBREY'S
The story of McCoubrey's Electrical stores began in 1959 when Mr McCoubrey senior opened a country General Hardware store and Filling Station in the Drumgavlin area, near Spa, Ballynahinch.
The business moved to the Ballynahinch Road, Castlewellan in 1977 and then to Belfast Road, Ballynahinch in 1986. We moved to our current premises at High Street, Ballynahinch in 1991, where we have had great success since.
We currently have over 10 staff, and 4 vans on the road providing a range of services to our customers.
From an early date, our business focused on Electrical goods and appliances and now has an impressive range of products to suit all budgets. All our staff are extremely knowledgable and we have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience within our field, and as the oldest electrical retailer in the country, why buy from anyone else?
